Helen J. Miozza, 89, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Palm Bay, FL. She was born in Manhattan, NY to the late James and Margaret Duffy on March 7, 1922.
She met the love of her life, Walter Miozza and they were married on August 19, 1961 in Bronx, NY.
Mrs. Miozza was a secretary for Sears, Seagrams 7, Albert Eisenstein Hospital and later retired from Ocean County, NJ Commissioners Office.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Walter and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Anna Costa and brothers, James and Martin Duffy (Assistant Chief Inspector, NYPD).
Family will receive friends from 10 am 11am on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home, Melbourne, FL with a funeral service immediately following at 11 am.
Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Queens, NY on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 11am.
