Helen Langdon Murray, 89, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away July 9, 2016 at Palm Garden Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born April 4, 1927 in Washington, DC to the late Eugene and Julia Landgon.
A longtime resident of Vero Beach, Mrs. Murray was an active member of the Unity Church, The Red Hat Society and supporter of the Humane Society. Prior to retirement, she worked at Alma Lee's Children's Clothing Center.
She is survived by her children, Geoffrey (Rebecca) Murray of Trinity, AL and Kenneth (June) Murray of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and two grandchildren, Devon Murray and Travis James Cooper. She was predeceased by her husband, George J.B. Murray in 1991.
A Service of Remembrance will be held 10 am, Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Dan Holloway officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County, www.hsvb.org.
