Helen M. Narel born 5/08/21 in Bronx, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2013 (at the age of 92) in Albuquerque, NM with her daughter by her side. She is survived by her daughter, Joanie Greer, of Albuquerque, NM and son, Richard Narel, of Sandy Hook, CT. Also surviving are her granddaughters Rebecca, Lorraine and grandson, Matthew, daughter-in-law Marita, brother Frank and sisters Alice and Ronnie and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Narel, parents, Albert M. Sack and Anna Menge, sisters Marian, Marie, Emma, Florence and brother Bill. Her nursing career expanded for 60 years upon her retirement from a career she "loved" in 2001. Her gentle spirit and beautiful smile will be missed. Visitation will be held at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th St., Vero Beach, FL on Friday, September 20th from 6-8 p.m. A mass will be held on Saturday, September 21st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2085 Tallahassee Ave., Vero Beach, FL with interment following at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. www.coxgiffordseawinds.com.
