Helen P. Olsen, 72, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Olsen was born April 22, 1937 in Jamaica, NY and moved to Vero Beach fifteen years ago from Massapequa, NY.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Mrs. Olsen was also a member of Red Hat Society and the Ladies Group of Lake In The Woods in Vero Beach where she was a BINGO enthusiast.
Survivors include her daughter Patricia A. Olsen and sister Barbara Pepitone of Lindenhurst, NY.
She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Robert Thomas Olsen and daughter Donna Olsen Koppana.
Services: The family will receive friends 10 - 11:30 AM, Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach followed by a Mass at 12 Noon, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1040 Woodcock Rd Ste 119, Orlando, FL 32803.
