Helen Barber Stabile, 77, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, January 3, 2009 at her home.
Mrs. Stabile was born September 22, 1931 in Ft. Pierce, FL and was a lifelong resident of Vero Beach.
She was a graduate of The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA and had been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, Johns Island Club of Indian River Shores and Chartiers Country Club of Pittsburgh, PA. .
She is survived by a her husband of 55 years John "Jack" T. Stabile of Vero Beach; daughter Victoria Stabile of Hopewell, NJ; son Merrill P. Stabile of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter Pamela Stabile of Northampton, MA; sister Merrill J. Dick of Vero Beach; and five grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents Merrill P. Barber and Helen Clarkson Barber.
Services: Mrs. Stabile will be transferred to the William Slater Funeral Home in Pittsburgh for services and interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. A Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach at a later date.
