Henry A. Fischer's Obituary
Henry A. Fischer, 87, a resident of Vero Beach, FL., passed away January 2, 2011 at Indian River Estates.
He was born in Troy, NY., on January 22, 1923. After serving in the Air Force in WWII, he finished at Cornell Law School with honors. He joined the law firm of Herron and Lawler in Malone, NY in 1949 and was named District Attorney in 1952, the youngest at that time, where he served for 20 years. He became a distinguished Defense Attorney for another 20 years, winding up his practice as Defense Attorney for hospitals and doctors in 1993. He dedicated his life to his chosen profession.
He was married in 1952 to his wife Nancy who survives. Mr. Fischer leaves 4 children, Henry Alan of VA, Kathleen Greenwood of VT, Nancy Williams of TX and Mary Moran of NY. 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
