Henry H. Kalkau, 88, of Vero Beach, FL died June 20, 2009, at the Atlantic Health Care Center in Vero Beach after an extended illness..
He was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Vero Beach 23 yeas ago from Williston Park, Long Island, New York.
Prior to his retirement he worked for Tivoli Dairy in Maspeth, NY for 30 years.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his son Thomas (Patricia) Kalkau of Huntington, NY; sister Ella Krueger of Roslyn, NY, six grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Debbie Kalkau of Bellmore, NY..
He was predeceased by his son Douglas Kalkau and his wife Marion Levitz.
Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
Services: At the request of the family there will be no services.
