Herbert Babkes, 81, of Fort Pierce, FL died Friday, February 10, 2012 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, FL.

Mr. Babkes was born April 2, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY. He was a resident of Fort Pierce, FL for 20 years, coming from Middletown, NY, where he was a pharmacist.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris Babkes of Fort Pierce, FL; son Mitchell Babkes of Santa Clarita, CA; daughter Susan Babkes of Wading River, NY; sister Irma Krieger of Middletown, NY and three grandsons.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Temple Beth El Israel Cemetery in Fort Pierce, FL with Rabbi Arthur Rutberg officiating.
