Herbert Arthur Weismiller, 91, of The Morrings in Vero Beach, FL passed
away Wednesday, June 13, 2012.
Mr. Weismiller proudly served in the U.S Air force during WWII. He was
a navigator and he instructed celestial navigation, before spending a
year with a troop carrier group in the Philippines. After WWII, he was
in the Kansas Air Guard navigating B57. He retired from the Air Guard
in 1965 as Lt. Colonel.
He graduated from Harvard University Graduate School of Business
Administration.
He was a member of many clubs and organizations, but his passion and
joy was to play bridge at the Vero Beach Yacht Club.
Prior to retirement he was the Senior Vice President of Berry
Companies, a parent company of several construction distributors. In
addition to his Administrative and Financial duties, he flew the
company's twin engine airplane.
He was married to Mary A. Senecal on June 4, 1959 and celebrated his
54th wedding anniversary June 4, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Clara and his only
son Douglas Scott Weismiller.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Mary Weismiller and three step
children Mary, Georgian and Cheri Senecal; one grandson; two
great-granchildren; two step grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
A burial will be at later date at Sunset Memorial Park, St. Louis MO.
