Hettie Mata's Obituary
Hettie Mata, 65, of Vero Beach, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at her home.
Ms. Mata was born April 26, 1947 in Blackey, Kentucky. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for one year, coming from Kentucky
She worked as an Assistant Program Manager for the University of Louisville for three years.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Danica O'Neal of Vero Beach; brother, William J. Whitaker of Louisville, Kentucky; and granddaughter, Arla O'Neal of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steven O'Neal; parents, Collis & Arla Whitaker; and brother, David R. Whitaker.
An interment is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Whitaker Cemetery on HWY 7, off of Berma Road in Blackey, KY. For more information regarding the interment please visit www.letcherfuneralhomeinc.com.
Following the interment friends and family are invited to continue celebrating in Hettie's life at the Blackey Senior Community Cenetery.
