Hilda Mae Bollis, 92 of Vero Beach, passed away on February 2, 2019. Hilda was born in Meadville, PA on May 19, 1926 to Frank and Emma (Yockman) Chismar. She graduated from Randolph East Mead High School. Hilda went to work at American Viscose Corporation, a rayon factory, where she met her husband of 50 years, George F. Bollis. They married January 18, 1947 and built their own home in Meadville. Later Hilda worked at Talon Zipper Company for over 30 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Her free time was spent camping, square dancing and enjoying her grandchildren.

Hilda and George retired in 1983 and moved to Vero Beach, Florida where they fished, traveled, and spent time with their friends. Hilda attended Sebastian Christian Church in Sebastian, Florida.

She is survived by her 2 children, George (Mary Ester) Bollis, Jr and Kathleen (Gene) Mesley, both of Vero Beach, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Burial Services will be held at Denny's Cemetery in Meadville, PA at a later date.
