Howard P. Conkling, 78, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, June 30, 2008 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Conkling was born February 21, 1930 in Ridgefield Park, NJ and moved to Vero Beach 22 years ago from Fort Myers, FL.
He was of the Episcopalian Faith and had been a Tractor Trailer Driver for Roadway prior to his retirement. Mr. Conkling had served in the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years Claire Conkling of Vero Beach; sons Howard Conkling of Verona, NJ. and Gary Conkling of Westwood, NJ. and two grandchildren.
Services: There are no services planned at this time.
Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL.
