Howard A. Pautzke, 86, of Vero Beach, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach, FL.
Mr. Pautzke was born February 9, 1926 in Sussex, Wisconsin. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 56 years, coming from Lannon, WI.
He was a veteran of WWII serving with the U. S. Army.
Prior to retirement he was a zoning inspector for Indian River County for 12 years.
He was a life member of the BPOE Lodge #1774, Vero Beach, FL.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years Virginia Pautzke of Vero Beach, FL; son Daniel Pautzke of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter Dianne Pautzke of Atlanta, GA; two brothers Lloyd Pautzke of Winona, MN, Alfred Pautzke of Marshfield, WI; sister June Price of Milwaukee, WI and three grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation: 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A memorial service is planned for Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach. Inurnment will be with Honors provided by U. S. Army at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
