Howard W. Sommerwerck, Jr., 88 of Sebastian, FL died Friday, September 25, 2009 at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born January 15, 1921 in Baltimore, MD and was a resident of Sebastian for eleven years, coming from Lake Wylie, South Carolina.
Mr. Sommerwerck was a real estate agent. He served in the US Army as a Sergeant in the 157th Infantry, 45th Division during WWII.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-nine years, Carole Jane Sommerwerck of Sebastian, FL; step-son Mark Brandon and daughter-in-law Anne Brandon of Port Washington, NY, step-daughter Deborah Culpepper of Lake Wylie, South Carolina and two grandsons, Erik and Loren.
