Ila Lorraine Lewis, 93 of Vero Beach died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Florida Baptist Retirement Center in Vero Beach, FL.
She was born September 3, 1917 in Aucilla, FL and was a resident of Vero Beach since 2008 coming from Fort Pierce.
Ms Lewis was a citrus packer and was employed by Florida Growers Association. She attended Westside Baptist Church, Fort pierce, FL.
Survivors include her daughter Ila Geraldine Kane of Vero Beach, FL; sons George H. Lewis of Ellijay, GA, Leon M. Lewis of Fort Pierce, FL, Larry E. Lewis of Port Saint Lucie, FL; sisters Florrie Van Antwerp of Winter Beach, FL, Clyde Kennedy of Vero Beach, FL; eight grandsons; nine granddaughters and many great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 12 noon-2:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Fort Pierce.
