Inez A. Sheffield, 96 of Vero Beach, Florida died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center.

She was born August 4, 1916 in Cordele, GA and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1958.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Sheffield worked 19 years as a bookkeeper for Florida National Bank, Vero Beach.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Vero Beach.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Sheffield of Vero Beach; sister, Ruth McGahee of Jupiter, FL and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wade Sheffield in 1991.

A visitation will be held 5-7PM, Friday, July 12th at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10:00am at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.
