Irene E. Poderis,78, of Vero Beach, Florida and Schenectady, NY died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Indian River Medical Center.

Mrs. Poderis was a winter resident in Vero Beach for 20 years.

She worked as a Secretary for the Mohonasen School District.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years Anthony Poderis; daughters Susan Masto of Schenectady, NY; Carolyn Champouillon of Hillsborough, NJ and Sharon Caruso of Latham, NY.

She was preceded in death by her brother Les Horvath.
