Irene S. Morrison, 82, of Palm Bay, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011, at The Palms nursing home in Palm Bay, FL. She was born in Marion, NC, January 6, 1929, and moved to Palm Bay three years ago from Wabasso, FL. Irene worked as a secretary in the White Room for Harris Corp. in Palm Bay.
She is survived by daughters Jean Miniard of Palm Bay, Phyllis Thornton of Sebastian, FL, and Debbie Sherlin of Sebastian, son Dusty Sherlin of Vero Beach, FL, stepson Ross Morrison of Clarksville, TN, 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and brother Steve Lowery of Hickory, NC.
Services will be private and burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
Arrangements are under the direction of Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Sebastian, FL.
