Irene Miller Russo, 73, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, September 18, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Russo was born August 6, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Vero Beach in 1996 from Brooklyn, NY.
Prior to her retirement she worked as a secretary for the US Life Insurance Company in New York, NY and was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years Joseph Russo of Vero Beach; daughters Debra Curtis of Brooklyn, NY, Susan Flynn of Barnegat, NJ, Donna Armstrong of East Durham, NY, Joanne Russo of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Mary Pellecchia of New Egypt, NJ; brother Robert Reid of New York; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Services: A Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
