Iris Jean Wade, 86 of Sebastian, FL died October 3, 2009 at Sebastian River Medical Center.
Mrs. Wade was born April 8, 1923 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and lived in Sebastian for 22years coming from Scituate, MA.
She worked as a legal secretary and court stenographer in Quincy, MA in her younger years. She was a member of the United Church of Sebastian, Sebastian Garden Club and the Sebastian Singers.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, William; 2 sons, William Wade of Sebastian, Steven Wade of Vero Beach; 3 daughters, Rahima Wade of Greenfield, MA, Susan Swetland of Cooper City, FL, Nancy Grant of Orlando, FL; a brother Donald Brenton of Hanover, MA and 10 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 10, 2009 at United Church of Sebastian.
