Isabella Wells Hammond, 98, of Vero Beach died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at The Place at Vero Beach.
Mrs. Wells Hammond was born July 28, 1913 in Chicago, IL. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 2000, coming from Avon Park, FL.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her daughter Patricia (Terry) Canfield of Vero Beach; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by first husband, Urbey E. Wells; second husband, Frank Hammond; sons Michael Wells and Timothy Wells.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice House, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960
A mass will be said in her name at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach. Online condolences may be sent at www.coxgiffordseawinds.com.
