Jack Edwin Pheneger, 72 of Sebastian, FL died on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born June 6, 1937 in Alexandria, OH and was a resident of Sebastian since 1997 , coming from Columbus, OH.
Mr. Pheneger was a retired golf professional and was a lifetime member of the PGA. He had been assistant pro at Granville Inn and Golf Course, He was Head Pro at Highlands Golf Club, Raymond Memorial Golf Course, Superintendent of Bolton Field Golf Course, Golf Course Maintenance Manger for City of Columbus, OH and locally he was on the Bag Staff at Bent Pines Golf Club.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Carol Pheneger of Sebastian, FL; sons Michael Pheneger of Lake Wales, FL, Gregory Pheneger of Vero Beach, FL, Jon Pheneger of Circleville, OH; brother James Pheneger of Berra, OH; sisters Barbara Jones of Lancaster, OH, Shirley Crim of Newark, OH; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was predeceased by his brothers William and Richard Pheneger and a sister Pat Daniels.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Ron Thomas officiating.
