Jack Warren Van Kirk, 87 of Sebastian, FL died February 12, 2009 at his residence.
He was born March 28, 1921 in San Antonio, TX and was a resident of Sebastian for 8 years, coming from Melbourne, FL.
Mr. Van Kirk was a retired 1st Lieutenant of US Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion and was a former chaplain for the Palm Bay Police Department and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife, Sophia S. Van Kirk of Sebastian, FL; 3 sons, Jeffrey Van Kirk of Whitter, CA, Jerry Van Kirk of Winter Springs, FL, James Van Kirk of Palm Bay, FL; one sister; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Friday, February 20, 2009 from 2-4:00PM and 6-8:00PM at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian, FL. Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the Seawinds Funeral home.
