Jacqueline L. Simmons, 78, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, February 19, 2009 at her home.
Mrs. Simmons was born August 30, 1930 in Mansfield, IL and moved to Vero Beach 53 years ago from Lapeer, MI.
Prior to her retirement she had co-owned Royal Palm TV with her husband for over 40 years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, and a member of the Republican Club and the Indian River County School Board.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Glen Simmons of Vero Beach; mother Freda Rowe Hoppe of Vero Beach; daughter Judy Soule of Tampa, FL; sons Jon Trumble and David Trumble both of Vero Beach; daughter Sandy Brennan of Maggie Valley, NC; step-son Will Simmons of Sebastian, FL; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services: A graveside service will take place Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 2 PM in Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach with Pastor Matthew Luttman of Grace Lutheran Church officiating.
