A beloved father of three, grandfather of seven, great-grandfather of fourteen. Jake peacefully left this world, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom, and generosity that will never be forgotten. Born in 1927 in Cumberland Furnace, TN, raised his family in Martinsville, Indiana and retired in Vero Beach, Fl. Jake lived a life full of purpose and unwavering dedication to his family and work. Jake's professional career included working for the Railroad until he was retired and then working as the Field Superintendent at Chance Brothers Marble and Tile. Jake continued to work as a courier for different banks into his late 80's. He was a man of his word and loved by anyone that met with him. Jake getting chuckled on his own jokes was enough to make you smile and laugh along with him.
