James Jim Culleton, 85, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Culleton was born August 29, 1924 in Manhattan, NY and moved to Vero Beach 20 years ago from The Bronx, NY.
He worked in the Photography field in Manhattan and was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Culleton was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge in Vero Beach. His passion was bowling and watching baseball. He enjoyed golf, especially in Ireland.
Survivors include his wife Jean Agnes Culleton of Vero Beach, son Jim Culleton of Manhattan, NY, stepson Mark Curley of Winter Springs, FL stepson Charles Curley of Long Island, NY, stepdaughter Theresa Simmonds of Staten Island, NY, stepson Michael Curley of Long Island, NY, two grandchildren, Craig and Laurie, one great-grandchild, Ciara, ten step grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife Florence Culleton and brothers Jake and Kiki Culleton.
Services: The family will receive friends 4-7 pm, Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon, Monday, March 15, 2010 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
