James S. Hatter, 94, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the Indian River Medical Center.
Mr. Hatter was born November 23, 1915 in Lynchburg, VA and moved to Vero Beach in 1997 from Perkasie, PA.
He had worked for the Iron Workers Union Local 401 in Philadelphia, PA and served in the US Marine Corps. during WWII. Mr. Hatter had been a member of the VFW #175 in Doylestown, PA and St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his daughters Frances Tedeschi of Perkasie, PA and Patricia Costello of Vero Beach; sons William Hatter of Villas, NJ, Edward Hatter of Huntington Valley, PA and Michael Hatter of Sellersville, PA; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years Anna Marie Hatter.
