James K. Hogan, 89, of Fort Pierce, FL died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Atlantic Healthcare Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Hogan was born January 25, 1920 in Covington, Kentucky and moved to Fort Pierce twenty years ago from Okeechobee, FL.
He had been the owner of Aluminum Wholesale Distributors in Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Hogan was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Navy.
Survivors include his wife Sally Hogan of Fort Pierce, FL; sons Donnie Hogan of Cincinnati, OH and Dennis Hogan of Oak Ridge, TN; daughter Donna Lee of Fayette City, PA; stepson Bob Karr of Cincinnati, OH; sisters Ileen Mehron of Covington, KY; Joyce Rolfsen of Covington, KY and Joan of Charlotte, NC; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services: The family will receive friends from 10AM - 11:30AM, Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Helen Catholic Church at 12 Noon and interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL with military honors by VFW Post 3918 of Vero Beach.
