James M. Kennedy's Obituary
James M. Kennedy, 68, of Fort Pierce, FL died Friday, December 21, 2007 at his home.
Mr. Kennedy was born June 25, 1939 in Scotland and moved to Fort Pierce in 1984 from Elizabeth, NJ.
He had been a maintenance mechanic for the Fort Pierce Power Plant and a member of COP.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Martha Kennedy of Fort Pierce; daughter Nancy Hensley of Fort Pierce; sons Scott Kennedy of Vero Beach and James Kennedy and John Kennedy of Pennsylvania, and Robert Uhl of Ashland City, TN; brothers Wilson Kennedy of Scotland and David Kennedy of Warren, NJ; sisters Cindy Brady of Doylestown, PA and Melinda Kennedy of Scotland; and eight grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister Aileen Melendy of Toms River, NJ.
Services: A memorial celebration will take place 11 AM Saturday, December 30 2007 at the Lakewood Park United Methodist Church in Ft. Pierce.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3375 20th Street, Suite #100, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
