James Henry McCollam, 85 of Vero Beach, passed away on December 26, 2019.

Born June 3, 1934, in Davenport, Iowa, he was a son of the late Elmer McCollam and Myrtle Peterson McCollam.

Mr. McCollam was a former member of the Lakewood Village Board of Directors, having served as past President and various other capacities over the years.

A friend of Bill W, James enjoyed bowling and playing poker with his buddies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years,

Barbara Nelson McCollam; two siblings; and a son, Douglas McCollam.

He is survived by his daughters, Connie Schumate, and Patricia Camp and husband Glenn; a brother, Donald McCollam; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
