On Wednesday, April 10,2019 James Samuel McKeown, loving husband, father, stepfather,grandfather passed away at the age of 83.
Jim was born in Paterson, New Jersey and he was the son of late parents Samuel and Esther McKeown.
Jim touched many lives during his long career in the automobile industry. Jim was the forever outdoorsman loving hunting, fishing, boating, and camping with his family. His favorite pastime was antiquing with his wife ,Colette.
Jim is survived by his loving, caring wife, Colette and they celebrated 25 years of marriage.
He is also survived by his children, Timothy, Colleen, Maureen(John), Michael(Bonnie),
Daniel(Cathee), stepchildren Julie(Jeff), Brian(Edie), Neal, Carrah(Jim), grandchildren, Daniel, Sean, Lindsay, Olivia, Justin, Jared, Trevor, Conor, Caitlin and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Esther, brother John, and sisters Mildred, Gertrude, Florence and Ruth.
Jim, Dad, Poppy was so loved, will be missed and cherished always.
The family wishes to thank the staff for the loving care that he received at Solaris and Palm Gardens.
A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a future date in upstate New York.
