Obituary

James Jim R. Morse died November 23, 2010, at the Hamrick Home. He had been a resident of Okeechobee for 50 years.
Bass fishing ranked number one among his favorite activities and his green thumb was so fertile that he had the ability to make a stick grow. Despite his failing eye sight, he said he just had a feel for it when it came to staking his tomato plants.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Fannie Morse; daughter-in-law, Linda Harper of Okeechobee; many grandchildren with a special love for Annette Navarette of Tennessee; son, Allen (Margaret) Tusing and children of Palmetto; and daughter, Denise Gonzalez of Bradenton.
There will be no services held at this time.
All arrangements were under the care of Matthew and Paul Buxton of Buxton-Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 4550 Hwy. 441 N., Okeechobee, FL.
