James E. Raines' Obituary
James E. Raines, 71 of Sebastian, Fl died June 4, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Raines was born November 30, 1936 in Rector, AR and moved to Sebastian in 1986 from St. Louis, MO.
He retired as manger of the Wabasso KOA Campground and was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and the Eagle Aeries #4067.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years LaVern; 2 sons, Marc Raines of St. Louis, MO, Timothy Raines of Clearwater, Fl; 3 daughters, Vickie Elbrecht, Deborah Kauffman both of St. Louis, MO, Brenda Kahn of Sebastian; a brother Bill Raines; a sister, Norma Volner both of West Plains, MO and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made be made the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30067
Friends may call from 3-7PM on Monday, June 9, 2008 at Seawinds Funeral Home, Sebastian, Fl. with a wake service being held at 6:30PM. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Sebastian Cemetery with military honors conducted by Sebastian River Area Veterans Honor Guard.
