James Tyler Rorabaugh, 65, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Rorabaugh was born October 10, 1943 in Norfolk, VA and moved to Vero Beach in 1985 from Thousand Oaks, CA.
He graduated from Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, VA in 1962 and served active duty in the U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1966, aboard the U.S.S. Little Rock as an Electronics Technician. Mr. Rorabaugh worked in the field of electronics systems development primarily involving radar and microwave technology for various U.S. companies including ITT, Radiation Labs, Wangco, and Perkin Elmer Corporation.
Survivors include his son David R. Rorabaugh of Arlington, VA; brother Philip R. Rorabaugh of Vero Beach, FL; and nephews Mark R. Rorabaugh of Centreville, VA and Justin Tyler Rorabaugh of San Jose, CA.
He is predeceased by his parents James R. and Juanita A. Rorabaugh, a brother Henry Richard
Rorabaugh, and a sister Alice Sue Morris.
Services: Interment will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
