James F. West, 70 of Sebastian, Fl died October 25, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
He was born May 7, 1940 in Long Branch, NJ and moved to Sebastian, 6 years ago coming from his birthplace.
James was the owner and operator of Tinton Falls Contracting for 25 years in Tinton Falls, NJ and went on to work for Long Branch Sewer Authority for 15 years, until his retirement in 2004.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jane of Sebastian; sons, James West of Sebastian, FL and John West of Vero Beach; sister, Lillian Dalton of West Long Branch, NJ and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, a funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm at Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 S. Fleming Street, Sebastian, FL.
