James Newton Wilson, 69, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, December 12, 2011 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.

Mr. Wilson was born April 27, 1942 in Clinton, IA and moved to Vero Beach in 1986 from his place of birth.

He had worked for International Paper Company prior to his retirement and had been a member of the Clinton Presbyterian Church for 25 years.

Survivors include his sister Ann Wilson Dixon (Stewart) of Lake Bluff, IL and a brother William McClelland Wilson (Leslie) of Geneva, FL. Also two nieces, Lauren and Jamie Wilson of Geneva FL and a nephew Theodore Grozier of Berlin, Germany.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Indian River County, 6230 77th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32967.

Service: Interment will be at Clinton Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
