James Lloyd Yates, Sr., 75 of Sebastian, FL died October 22, 2009 at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Fl.
He was born August 23, 1934 in Hughes, OK and was a resident of Sebastian since 1974, coming from
Mr. Yates was a painter and was a member of the VFW and the Eagles in Sebastian. He served in the US Air Force.
Survivors include his sons Rick James Yates of Roseburg, OR, Gary Lee Yates of Roseburg, OR, Donald James Yates of Seattle, WA, Jim L. Yates, Jr. of Port Saint Lucie, FL; daughters Janet Wagner of Sebastian, FL, Debbie Wagner of Sebastian, FL; brothers Ronnie Yates of Ceres, CA, Calvin Yates of Ojai, CA; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 12 years Karen Lou Baker.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the VFW in Sebastian, FL.
