Jane Elizabeth Peluso, a loving, joyful, and generous wife, mother, aunt, great aunt, and friend, died on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. We miss her dearly.
Jane, 75, of Vero Beach, was born to the late William and Florence Bezanson on November 17, 1947, in Cambridge, MA. She graduated from Lexington Christian Academy, formerly Christian High School, in 1966. Jane married James R. Peluso in 1972, and they lived in Quincy, MA, Watertown, MA, Newton, MA, Andover, MA, Peabody MA. And Alton Bay, NH. They later moved to Vero Beach in 2019.
She worked for the American Telephone and Telegraph Company ten years, first as a service representative and then as an instructor, before becoming an exceptional full-time homemaker.
She was an active participant and discussion leader for Bible Study Fellowship and Community Bible Study for many years. She also was a talented quilter and seamstress, always ready to help others add warmth to their homes and expand their wardrobes.
Jane was an active attender at Cornerstone Christian Church in Vero Beach.
Jane is survived by her husband, James, and her two daughters, Emily R. Peluso, of Lexington, SC, and Laura E. Peluso, of Vero Beach, FL. She also is survived by three siblings: Carol (Thomas) Erickson, of Vancouver, WA, Charles (Lenore) Bezanson, of New Durham, NH, and Rev. David (Ann) Bezanson, of Browns Summit, NC, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
A service to celebrate Jane's life will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Cornerstone Christian Church in Vero Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Cornerstone Christian Church in Vero Beach.
