Janice A. (Burns) Pike passed away peacefully on July 28, 2020, in Vero Beach at the age of 92.

Janice was born to Walter A. Burns and Nora E. Garrett on April 24, 1928, in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. She was raised in Lewistown and after High School attended Nurses Training School in Philadelphia.

After graduation, she married Richard S. Pike of Chosen, Florida on December 22, 1952, and enjoyed 57 years of marriage until his death in 2009.  She has been a resident of Vero Beach for 62 years, working as a Registered Nurse.

Janice is survived by her son Andrew (Sharon) Pike; granddaughters, Jennifer Scholler (Jim) and Kristen Humphreys (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Chloe, Garrett, and Cody; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sisters Naomi, Marjorie Pyle, and Arlene Headings.

Janice was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church for almost 60 years.  She enjoyed spending time in the mountains of North Carolina, other trips with friends, watching her young granddaughters participate in sports, and in recent years, doting on her great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on August 7, 2020, for her immediate family with Pastor Matthew Luttman presiding.
