Janis L. Turner, 70 of Sebastian, Fl died July 13, 2008 at her residence.
Mrs. Turner was born November 6, 1937 in Taylorville, IL and moved to Sebastian in 1989 from Toledo, OH.
She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Moose Loge and the Eagles. She and her husband fulfilled their retirement dream when they moved Sebastian.
Survivors include her son David Turner of Virginia Beach, VA; 2 daughters, Kitty Turner Zeunen of Enon, OH, Jo Morrissey of Lambertville, MI; her parents, Dudley and Ruby Porter of Moweaqua, IL; 2 brothers, Joe Porter of Quincy, IL, Dudley Porter of Moweaqua, IL; a sister, Maggie McPeak of Dalton City, IL; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene in April and a brother, Benny Ray Porter.
