Jarrel Robert McCorkle, 67, of Port Saint Lucie died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Saint Lucie Medical Center.

Mr. McCorkle was born February 5, 1945 in Fort Wayne, IN. He had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie since 1990, coming from Fort Wayne.

Jarrel served in the United States Navy.

He was of the Christian faith, and worked as a tool and dye machinist.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth; son, Richard McCorkle of Port Saint Lucie; daughters, Helen Marie Piccola of North Versailles, PA, Christine Kubik and Jenna McCorkle both of Port Saint Lucie; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Private services will be held at a later date.
