Jean N. Peterson, 80, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Indian River Medical Center.
Mrs. Peterson was born October 20, 1927 in Spindale, NC and moved to Vero Beach in 1948 from Fort Pierce, FL.
She was a bookkeeper for the Barker/Indian River Electric Company prior to her retirement. She was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughters Jan Barker Maxwell of Ft. Myers, FL, Pam Barker of Satellite Beach, Fl and Rebel Barker Horton of Fort Pierce, stepsons Carl Peterson and Richard Peterson of Ft. Pierce, thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Peterson was predeceased by her first husband Jack M. Barker and her later husband Albert C. Peterson.
Services: A memorial celebration will take place 7:30 PM, Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
