Jean M. Sirianni, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died peacefully in Vero Beach, FL on January 19 at the age of 87.

Jean was born on March 21, 1926 in Rice Lake, WI to A. A. Bergeron and Luella (Cain) Bergeron. She attended St. Scholastica's School in Duluth, MN and graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1944. Jean went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from St. Catherine's University in St Paul, MN.

Jean married her high school sweetheart, Fred A. Sirianni, in 1949 in Rice Lake, WI. They moved to Eau Claire, WI in 1959 where they raised their twelve children.

Jean was a strong and loving advocate for her children's development in all areas; academically, artistically, socially, and spiritually. She advised and counseled many friends throughout her years in Eau Claire, Eagle River, and Vero Beach. Jean was adored by many and admired for her courage, tenacity, dedication to family and friends, cooking ability, love of animals and nature, and her sense of humor. (After all, she had 12 kids!)

Jean was preceded in death by her parents and three close aunts; Lucille Cain, Marie Wahl, and Ida Johnson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Fred, and their children: Steve (Kitty) Sirianni of Seatle, Tony Sirianni of West Palm Beach, FL, Janet (Steve) Driever of Eau Claire, Mary Sirianni of Robbinsdale, MN, Patty Sirianni of Minneapolis, Jim (Melissa) Sirianni of Madison, John (Julie) Sirianni of Eau Claire, Kate (Yutaka Ishimi) Sirianni of Boynton Beach, FL, Carey (Al Epp) Sirianni of Minneapolis, David Sirianni of St. Paul, Fred (Jane) Sirianni of Marysville, WA, and Sue (Ken) Lessley of Minneapolis. She is also survived by 23 grand-children, four great-grandchildren, and many special dogs.

Though a member of St. John of the Holy Cross parish in Vero Beach, a funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Eau Claire, WI on February 8. Fuller Speckien, Hulke Funeral Home is handling arrangements and burial will be in Eau Claire, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the St John of the Cross Catholic Church or the United Way of Indian River County in Vero Beach, FL.
