Jean Dunivant Thompson, 84, of Jensen Beach, FL died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Abingdon at Tradition in Port St. Lucie, FL.
Mrs. Thompson was born June 21, 1927 in Wright City, MO and moved to Jensen Beach 15 years ago from Baltimore, MD.
She was recognized in the Who's Who of American Women, having been Executive Director of the University of Maryland Medical Alumni Association in Baltimore, MD.
Survivors include her husband Paul W. Thompson; son Daniel D. Goral; daughter-in-law Kimberly R. Bleakley; two granddaughters, five nieces and one nephew.
Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Service: A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will at the Eternal Reef after the passing of Paul Thompson, where they'll be interred together.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach, Florida. Condolences may be sent through www.coxgiffordseawinds/obituaries.php
