Jeanette H. Brearton, 87, of Vero Beach, Fl passed away Monday, August 11, 2008 at her home in Indian River Estates. Mrs. Brearton was born December 5, 1920 in Hudson Falls, NY to William and Eva Lafay Heil. She and her husband, the late Richard W. Brearton, Jr., had moved to Vero Beach 30 years ago from Schenectady, NY.
Her survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Patricia and William Munoff of Addison, VT; her son and daughter-in-law Richard W. and Ardith Brearton, III of Columbia, SC; and three grandchildren Jacqueline Cleary and her husband William of Springfield, PA, Sarah Tichenor and her husband Jon of Savannah, GA and Richard W. Brearton, IV of Charlotte, NC.
In addition to her husband Richard, she was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Heil and a sister Blanche OLeary.
A Mass will be celebrated 1 PM, Thursday, August 14, 2008 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Mrs. Brearton will be transferred to the Jones Funeral Home in Schenectady for final services and interment at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Schenectady.
