Jeanne Elizabeth Borgen
Vero Beach, FL -- Mrs. Borgen, died June 4, 2010 at the Hospice House of Vero Beach.
Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday June 8, 2010 at Grace Lutheran Church, where she had been a member for over 50 years, officiated by Rev. Matthew Luttman, and burial will follow at the Crestlawn Cemetery.
The Borgen family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm Monday June 7, 2010 at Cox/Gifford Funeral Home of Vero Beach.
Mrs. Borgen was born July 4, 1921 in Superior, WI daughter of the late George and Mary Taft. She was a graduate of Superior Central High School. She and her husband, Merlyn (Borgie) moved their family to Vero Beach, FL in 1956 along with the Erbe Wold family and started the Southgate Village Mobile Home Park where they maintained a partnership that is still going today. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982.
Survivors include her son Jack and wife Dianne of Sherrills Ford, NC, son, Tom and wife Denise of Royal Palm Beach, FL. grandchildren, Sheree Still, Jeffrey Borgen, Derek Borgen, Jaci Wheeler, Jennifer Shepper, and Melissa Borgen. Six Great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews in Superior, WI.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice House and Staff of Vero Beach. Memorials may be directed to Hospice and/or Grace Lutheran Church of the donor's choice.
