Mother is a native of Ithaca, New York and daughter of Franklin and Ruth Beach who were all lifetime Ithacans. She grew up on the Southside of town on Wood Street. Jeannette was the first of four siblings, Shirley, Franklin and Jimmy raised lovingly by her family. In her youth she enjoyed St. John's Elementary School then Boynton Junior High and in 1951 a graduate of Ithaca High school.

Having close friends throughout town, Jeannette met her future husband Richard R. Knight, a local Newfield High School graduate and Cornell freshman, in 1952. After their marriage in 1953 she dedicated herself to her family of four children and presently her extended family today of nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren residing throughout the country.

Jeannette's faith in our Savior Jesus Christ and His accomplishment defeating death off the cross as the scripture explains gave her a lifetime of encouragement, hope and trust that one day soon we will all meet again in the presence of the Lord.

To her loving husband Richard R. Knight, family and dear friends that she leaves behind she was encouraged by the scripture's words in the old and New Testaments and specifically enjoying Romans 8 or Psalm 23. Sincere appreciation to everyone remembering mother and her life in Ithaca, New York and her winter southern home in Vero Beach, Florida. Friends at her Churches either at Bethel Grove Bible Church, Ithaca, NY or Pathway Church, Vero Beach, FL. helped encourage her of the love and grace of Christ.

Mother enjoyed and repeated this scripture many times "and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." So now we all wish to remember her fondly with these verses.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lay down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
