Jerry Melvin Koehn, 70, passed away Friday September 20 th 2019.

He was born to the late Melvin and Hazel Koehn on August 25 th , 1949 in Sydney Nebraska.  Jerry graduated from Heron Lake High School in Heron Lake, Minnesota.  He was a proud Veteran of the Navy having served from 1968-1972. Jerry moved to Vero Beach in 1973 and married Sandra Koehn in 1974.

Jerry worked in Construction and was a Truck Driver.  He most recently worked at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.  He was President of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1038.  He enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle and bowling. He proudly bowled a perfect 300 in 2016.  Jerry also actively volunteered at the Victory Center Military Store.

Jerry is survived by his wife Sandra Koehn of Vero Beach; children Adam (Arita) Koehn and Aaron Koehn of Vero Beach;  grandchildren, Anna, Aiyden and Acen Koehn; siblings Melody Christensen of Brush, Colorado and Claire Koehn of Hensley, Arkansas.

A visitation will be held on Friday September 27th from 1-3 p.m. at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach followed by a Service at 3 p.m.  Family and Friends are encouraged to gather at the home of Adam Koehn after the Service.
