Obituary

Jesse Tiny Watford, age 85, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at Jesse Tiny Watford, age 85, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee. He was born in Okeechobee and was a lifetime resident.
During WWII he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the American Legion and Accountant Association.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alto Watford, Sr. and brother, Salter Watford. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Barbara; sons, David, Bruce, and Michael Watford all of Okeechobee, and Lonus Pridemore of West Vir.; daughters, Shelena Gingise of Okeechobee, Jimmie Sue Mazon of West Vir., Carmella Smith of Orlando, and Wanda Roberts of Lakeland; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren including three special great-grandchildren of Okeechobee, Jesse and Sophia Tanguma and Kennith Smith; brother, John Snook (Ruth) Watford; and sister, Peggy Hudson, both of Okeechobee.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church, at 12:00 pm with the service following at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Road, Tampa, FL 33607.
