Jessie C. Chapchuk, 92, of Brookfield, WI died Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Ruths Hospice in West Allis, WI.
Mrs. Chapchuk was born February 11, 1916 in Chicago, IL and moved to Spanish Lakes, Ft. Pierce, FL in 1985 from her place of birth.
She had worked for the John M. Smyth Furniture Store in Chicago since the age of 18 until her retirement. Mrs Chapchuk was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach, the Spanish Lakes Mobile Home Owners Association, the Pink Ladies at Indian River Medical Center and a volunteer at the Council on Aging in Vero Beach. She enjoyed oil painting.
Survivors include her niece Gail Moses of New Berlin, WI and two grandnieces. She was predeceased by her husband Alex Chapchuk.
Services: A memorial service will take place in Chicago at a later date.
